SR6151 Single Phase Repulsion Motor Teaching Workbench Equipment Educational Technology Electrical Training EquipmentI. Product Overview
1.1 Overview
Repulsion motor, a single-phase AC commutator motor, is suitable for occasions where single-phase power supply requires speed regulation and change of direction. A single-phase AC commutator motor. The stator winding is powered by a single-phase power supply, and the rotor is an armature winding with a commutator shorted by a brush. The brushes a-b can be moved to any position relative to the stator winding as required. By moving this position, the direction of rotation, mechanical characteristics and operating speed of the rotor can be changed. When the brush deviates counterclockwise from the geometric center line, the rotor rotates clockwise; when the brush deviates clockwise from the geometric center line, the rotor rotates counterclockwise. Because of this phenomenon that the steering is opposite to the direction of the brush deviation, it is called a repulsion motor. It has similar mechanical characteristics to series-excited DC motors and is used to drive mechanical loads for heavy-duty starting. It is suitable for occasions where single-phase power supply requires speed regulation and change of direction.
