1. Product Introduction
1.1 Product Description
The coupled tank connection experiment models a chemical plant segment. Typically, the reaction tanks are connected by pipes, and the level and flow of the reactants must be controlled. The coupled tank experiment is designed to allow for a configurable system. The coupled tank system consists of four translucent tanks, each equipped with a pressure sensor for water level measurement. The coupling between the tanks can be adjusted using seven manual valves, changing the system dynamics and enabling the use of different controllers. Water is delivered to the tanks by two independently controlled submersible pumps.
